AI for Finance and Legal

In finance and legal, where privacy and regulatory pressure are high, AI can support document review, search across regulations and internal policies, reporting and compliance processes. Huaris AI puts data security and verifiability at the centre of the design.

Example use cases

Contract and document review support

Clause extraction, comparison and risk flagging in long contracts. The final decision belongs to the lawyer.

Regulation and internal policy search

An assistant that answers from your regulation notes, policies and procedures and cites its sources.

Reporting and summarisation

Summarising long reports, meeting notes and correspondence.

Support for compliance processes

Classifying requests and complaints, document checklists. With human oversight.

Communication drafts

Preparing drafts of standard replies. Approval is obtained before sending.

Points to watch in this industry

  • Confidential and personal data: data classification, masking and, where needed, on-premise or private cloud deployment.
  • Regulation: KVKK and sector-specific rules (for example rules on financial institutions' information systems and outsourcing) should be assessed together with your compliance and legal teams.
  • Accuracy: the risk of hallucination is unacceptable in legal and financial outputs. Source citation, quote verification and human approval must be mandatory.
  • Traceability: who asked which question and which source it relied on should be recorded (audit trail).
  • AI output is not legal or financial advice; final responsibility rests with people.

Our approach

We design the data flow and deployment model with our Product Development, Security and Compliance service, and build document assistants that cite sources under Custom AI Solutions. For details of our approach, see the Security and Compliance page.

Frequently asked questions

Can confidential contracts be sent to an AI model?

It depends on your policy, contractual obligations and the chosen deployment model. For sensitive documents we evaluate models running inside your organisation, or enterprise plans where data is not used for training and its location is known. The decision is made through data classification.

Can AI make legal or financial decisions?

No. AI supports tasks such as review, summarisation and search; legal and financial decisions and responsibility stay with people. That is why outputs cite sources and are put forward for human approval.
